Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-06-28

This Privacy Policy explains how Opserly ("Opserly," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and platform (the "Service"). This is a starting policy intended for legal review before being treated as final — see the contact section below for questions.

Information we collect

• Account information: name, email, organization, and role when you sign up or are added to an organization.

• Business data you input: customers, vendors, invoices, timesheets, quotes, jobs, and related records you or your organization create in the Service.

• Payment-related data: processed by our payment partners (Stripe, Plaid) — we do not store full card numbers or raw bank credentials.

• Usage data: pages visited, actions taken, and device/browser information, collected to improve the product and for security monitoring.

How we use information

• To provide and operate the Service, including invoicing, vendor payments, approvals, and reporting features you use.

• To communicate with you about your account, trial, or support requests.

• To improve the Service and develop new features.

• To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues.

How we share information

We do not sell your data. We share information only with:

• Sub-processors that power specific features — Plaid (bank linking/ACH), Stripe (payments), DocuSign (e-signature), and AWS (hosting).

• Service providers who help us operate the business (e.g. email delivery), under confidentiality obligations.

• Authorities, where required by law.

Data retention

We retain account and business data for as long as your organization maintains an active account, and for a reasonable period after to comply with legal, accounting, or audit obligations.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at admin@opserly.com. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies necessary to operate the Service (e.g. keeping you signed in) and, where applicable, to understand product usage.

Children's privacy

The Service is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to children under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active organizations.
